Wall Street Journal Changes the story about Apple iPhone 5c production cuts

The story that emerged from the Wall Street Journal On Wednesday, I passed along a story about the production cuts of the new colorful iPhone c. The story was that Apple had cut the orders of the iPhone 5c and increased orders of the new iPhone 5s. Now the Wall Street Journal has mentioned that the lowering of the cost of the iPhone 5c was not a very good idea. Although, mentioning that the phone is not selling as well as initially thought and is very expensive. The iPhone 4s still is remaining a better option. As stated by Wall Street Journal ""the fact that the 5C appears to have missed Apple's expectations may not be all bad, especially if it means consumers are buying more of the 5S, the higher-end iPhone that came out at the same time last month and sells for $100 more." The Wall Street Journal is now back tracking in regards to it's statement about the cuts. As they stated ""reduced orders could indicate weak demand, or could signal that Apple wanted to ensure adequate supply of the 5C so that potential buyers, who were more likely to be switching from competing phones, didn't have to walk out of a store empty-handed."

The Apple iPhone 5c actually sold well in September
